Access Apprenticeship Portal

Once you review and agree with the requirements of the Apprenticeship Program, you will prompted to upload the necessary paperwork to proceed. Below are the documents you will need to upload, so make sure you have them ready before proceeding.

  • Proof of current CPR
  • Yoga Alliance certification
  • Liability insurance
  • Practice teaching log, if you have one. (Please create a document that can be uploaded onto the site.) Though this is not required, it is encouraged. Practice teaching includes teaching at parks, gyms, clubs, etc.

When your documents are uploaded and have been received and reviewed, you will be contacted to set up a preliminary meeting with the Programs Director and to schedule an interview class.

Invitation to apply for apprenticeship does NOT guarantee entry. In order to enter into an apprenticeship, the applicant must successfully complete an interview class.
The interview class will be a real class on Indigo’s schedule, with members of Indigo leadership present. Leadership will provide feedback and initial teaching evaluation.
If Leadership feels you are fit to proceed, you will be contacted by the Programs Director, and begin the Apprenticeship.
If Leadership feels that more teaching development is needed, it will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
Indigo’s Apprenticeship Program is a 90 day mutual trial/probationary period in which you will complete a set of requirements meant to immerse you in our employee culture and standards.
Apprentices are not eligible for company benefits.
The Apprenticeship Program is exclusive to Indigo; apprentices are not allowed to mentor/apprentice at other competing studios during their apprenticeship, and are bound to the requirements in the Exclusivity Agreement, which will be reviewed during the initial meeting with the Programs Director.
